Why should I help?
A good question and one that is difficult to answer in these very harsh economic times. It's simple to say though that any monies raised go to pay for the making of productions and touring costs. In order for us to continue creating and touring original work we need the support of lovely folk, like yourselves. 

  • In the past 2 years we have employed professionally 17 young theatre makers (their first paid professional jobs) in a variety of roles (actors, designers and technicians) and we would like to be able to continue to offer this invaluable first step into industry.
  • We would also like to continue with our subsidised formal and informal education programme for schools, colleges, universities and other alternative education providers. We delivered 59 educational workshops with young people last year. 
  • We tour high quality original work across the country in venues from theatres to village halls. We believe, as I hope you do, that to protect theatre new work must continue to be created or theatre will stagnate and die. 
  • We believe in bringing high quality theatre to the communities of the UK, ultimately making work more accessible to those communities.
