This autumn sees the world premier of our brand new show…

The Games

In association with The Unity Theatre and The Met.

Three athletes - with aspirations of greatness - are poised to compete at the largest sporting event in the ancient world, ‘The Games’. They are under-funded, under-prepared and completely out of their depth as they take on the heroes of ancient Greece. This is their story...

Inspired by stories of the ancient Olympics and co-directed by Toby Park (Spymonkey) - Spike will bring back to life a world of Greek gods and bizarre sporting events in their own inimitable style.

This comic re-telling of all things Greek will incorporate sporting equipment with a thousand uses, an original musical score and scenes of simulated nudity!

This Christmas we’re co-producing the Christmas show with The Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, Cumbria…

Danny the Champion of the World

by Roald Dahl, adapted for the stage by David Wood

Danny lives in a caravan with his Dad, the most marvellous and exciting Dad any boy ever had. But his father has a secret! When night comes, he poaches pheasants from Hazell’s Wood. Mr Hazell, the biggest landowner in the district, wants to evict them both and the battle is quickly on to save their home. But how can one little boy defeat a rich and powerful landowner? Danny has a plan – and soon he and his Dad are caught up in a thrilling and remarkable adventure!

By no means just for kids, this is a warm and winning piece of theatre, which will delight all members of the family - adults & children alike!
