As our contribution to Liverpool's Capital of Culture events programme, we take Lewis Carroll's classic, Alice in Wonderland and give it a certain twist in the tale....
Performed by a cast of 40 utilising puppetry, live music, and song, some of Merseyside’s lesser-known parks are transformed into a darkly magical Wonderland.
Now in its fifth year, Theatre in the Parks (a partnership project between Spike Theatre, the Liverpool Culture Company and Knowsley MBC since 2005), continues to develop vibrant outdoor performance with professional actors and communities from across Merseyside.
In 2008, the borough of Halton will also host a weekend of performances for the 1st time.
