The Bank Job
This little gem was created in 1998 as
a tribute to the British bank robbery comedies of the Black &
White film era. As funds were tight, it simply featured three
old suitcases, three stools, a battered chintzy standard lamp
and a scruffy carpet. Ah happy days!
It was the first show to launch Spike nationally as a touring
company in 1999 winning us The Best New Talent in Theatre –
Liverpool Echo Arts Award ‘99. It toured extensively up
to spring of 2001.
